Farmer's Market Finds 🍑, Travel Steals + Rome Hacks

Hello friends,
Summer’s in full swing…our lakes are as warm as the Caribbean (well, almost), beach towels 🏖️ live by the door and evenings stretch long past dinnertime. It’s my favourite time of year!

In Guatemala, this stretch of hot, dry days is called la Canícula, named for Sirius, the dog star in the Canis Major constellation. For the Maya, the "dog days of summer" is a sacred time marked by rain-summoning ceremonies and harvest rituals.

So, this issue is packed with ways to enjoy summer’s harvest:
🥄Tortitas de Ejote – Guatemalan green bean fritters perfect for snacking or brunch. Make them in minutes.
🧅Siboyo Tempera – Aruban pickled onions that go with everything.
🌱Chilled Beet Gazpacho – cooling, elegant and vitamin-rich soup.
🍑Peach Jalapeño Salsa – sweet, spicy, and BBQ-ready.

We're also sharing tips and news if you're headed to Europe, looking for fine-dining or planning a winter escape. ✈️ Scroll down for inspiration.
